Details of Candidates nominating for election on 15th March, 2008, are on display at the Electoral Commission Office located off Heidke Street (in the BiLo Complex) or in the foyer of each Council's Administration Building. |

On Friday 27 July 2007 the Local Government Reform Commission announced a change to council boundaries and now the councils of Burnett Shire, Isis Shire , Kolan Shire and Bundaberg City are to be combined.
The new local government will be called Bundaberg Regional Council.
